The kiln is heated to a temperature of around 1400°C, at which point the calcium oxide and aluminum oxide react to form calcium aluminate cement. The cement is then cooled and collected for further processing. What is The Working Principle of Rotary Kiln for Calcium Aluminate?

 

The cylinder of calcium aluminate rotary kiln is rolled from a steel plate, and the cylinder is inlaid with refractory lining and has a specified slope with the horizontal line. It is supported by three-wheel belts on the supporting device of each block. A large gear ring is fixed on the span cylinder near the wheel belt at the feeding end with a tangential spring plate, and a small gear meshes with it. During normal operation, the main drive motor transmits power to the open gear unit through the main reducer to drive the calcium aluminate rotary kiln. Materials enter the kiln for calcination from the kiln tail (the front end of the cylinder). Due to the tilt and slow rotation of the cylinder, the material will roll in the circumferential direction and move in the axial direction (from the top to the bottom), and continue to complete its process. Then, the generated clinker will enter the cooler for cooling through the kiln head cover.
