Material of Rotary Kiln

Process of Rotary Kiln
The raw material is introduced into the rotary kiln through the rotary feed chute, which controls the rate at which the material enters the kiln. The material may be in the form of powder, granules, or pellets.
As the raw material travels through the kiln, it is first dried and then preheated to a temperature of around 1000°C. This stage removes any moisture content remaining in the material and prepares it for the next stage.
The material undergoes calcination as it reaches the hottest area of the kiln, typically at around 1450°C. In this stage, the raw material is transformed into a new material by a chemical reaction. Calcination is used to produce cement, lime, and other minerals such as alumina.
