How to run the ball mill without load and under load

No-load test of a ball mill means idling without loading steel balls and ore materials. Idling time can not be less than four hours, normally need to run for 8-16 hours. The longer the test time, the better the run-in will be for the main bearing and gear tooth surface. No-load test shall meet the following requirements:
1. The lubrication of each lubrication point is normal, no oil leakage phenomenon.
2. The temperature of the main bearing of the mill should not exceed 50℃.
3. Mill running smoothly, gear transmission without abnormal noise.
4. Ball mill lining plate and each transmission parts are not loose.
5. The operation of each department meets the maintenance requirements.

After the ball mill idling reaches the specified time, it can stop the operation of the ball mill, carefully check all working parts, tighten the liner bolt, and eliminate the defects found. After the ball mill has no problem in idling, the load test can be carried out. Load test should be fed gradually until full load. Run for 10-20 hours after normal feeding. The following requirements should be met when the load is running:
1. Smooth operation without periodic sharp vibration.
2. The current of the main motor has no abnormal fluctuation.
3. All lubricating points are lubricated normally, and the temperature of the main bearing does not exceed 60℃.
4. The bolts, manholes, flange joint surfaces and sealing places of each working part of the mill are free from water leakage and pulp leakage.
