Introduction of Twin Shaft Lime Kiln
The twin shaft lime kiln is a new type of kiln, also called double shaft parallel flow regenerative lime kiln, which is a kind of vertical kiln. It adopts double-chamber structure design and flow heat storage, saving energy and reducing the calcination cost of the kiln. It is a very advanced kiln type.

Structure and Calcination Method

1. The cross section of the lime kiln is composed of two semi-circular kiln bodies, which are connected by the connecting channel under the calcination zone.
2. The fuel is supplied by the spray gun installed in the kiln chamber, which flows and burns in parallel with the limestone.
3. One kiln chamber for combustion and one for heat storage. The two kilns are continuously alternated to realize efficient calcination of limestone.
4. High temperature flue gas is led to regenerative kiln chamber. In addition, the cooling air of lime is blown in from the bottom of the cooling zone. Then realize mixed flow with heating flue gas in the regenerative kiln.
5. The flue gas and limestone are all countercurrent to effectively preheat the materials, and then discharged into the atmosphere through the dust removal system. The flue gas temperature drops to about 120 ℃.
6. Limestone shall be put into two kilns alternately at a certain interval and mixed at the same time. It is also equipped with a level indicator.
